Changes in Childhood to marriage on a Girl : सादी के बाद उसके घर में व्यवाहार🤔👇
When Reema reached the doorstep of her maternal home, her steps halted. This time there was a strange emptiness and sadness in her heart. This was the first time she had come to her maternal home without her father. From childhood to marriage, waiting for her father on every holiday was the sweetest part of her maternal home visit. As soon as she knocked on the door, her father’s excited voice would echo,
“Hey, Reema has come! Open the door quickly.”But today that voice was not heard anywhere.
Mother opened the door. She hugged her and asked, “Laado, how are you? Everything is fine, isn’t it?” There was the same affection in mother’s voice, but a tiredness and emptiness was visible in her eyes. This was the same mother who always used to be Reema’s companion in every joy and sorrow. But after father’s departure, her confidence seemed to have vanished. Now she did not seem to chirpy like before or work swiftly in the house.
As soon as she stepped inside the house, Reema realized that this was not the same house which used to be the safest and dearest place for her. The elder brother left after asking about her well being formally, and even the middle brother’s conversation did not have the same intimacy as before. There was a strange distance and formality in everyone’s behavior.
Reema’s heart started to fill with memories of her father. When he was there, there was a feeling of intimacy and happiness in everything in the house. Whenever she came to her maternal home, her father would make special arrangements for her. She always felt that she was like a princess in her maternal home. But now that intimacy and warmth had disappeared somewhere.
Father always took care of her needs. When she came to her maternal home from her in-laws’ house, father would send a car for her, so that she did not face any inconvenience. But this time the elder brother himself asked her to come by taxi. This small change shook Reema from within. She understood that without her father, this maternal home was not the same as it used to be.
Reema spent the entire week amidst formalities and silent moments. In every corner of the house, she could see the laughter of her childhood and memories of her father. But now all that remained only in memories. After father’s departure, the closeness and warmth between mother and brothers and sisters-in-law had also ended. The house had become like a museum, where only memories resided.
When the time came to return, the elder brother dropped her to the station and took a formal leave. Reema looked out of the train window, and the image of her father emerged in her eyes, when he used to stand on the platform till the train left, wave his hand, and bless her for safety. This time his absence filled Reema’s heart with a deep pang.
Tears flowed from Reema’s eyes. She understood that parents are the soul of the maternal home. Without them, the maternal home remains just a place, where memories remain, but the feeling of closeness and security is missing.
During the train journey, Reema promised herself that she will now cherish every moment and try to spend time with her mother. This time she did return from her mother’s house, but with a deeper understanding and a sense of reality. She learned that every moment spent with family is precious and should be lived whole heartedly.

Reema maayake kee chaukhat par pahunchee, to usake kadam thithak gae. is baar usake dil mein ek ajeeb-sa khaaleepan aur udaasee thee. yah pahalee baar tha jab vah apane pitaajee ke bina maayake aaee thee. bachapan se lekar shaadee tak, har chhuttee mein pitaajee ka intajaar usakee maayake aane kee sabase pyaaree baat hua karata tha. jaise hee vah daravaaje par dastak detee, paapa kee utsaahit aavaaz goonj uthatee, *“are, reema aa gaee! jaldee daravaaja kholo.”* lekin aaj vah aavaaz kaheen sunaee nahin dee. daravaaja maan ne khola. unhonne use gale lagaate hue poochha, *“laado, kaisee ho? sab theek hai na?”* maan kee aavaaz mein vahee apanaapan tha, lekin unakee aankhon mein ek thakaan aur khaaleepan jhalak raha tha. yah vahee maan theen jo hamesha reema ke har sukh-dukh kee saathee hua karatee theen. lekin pitaajee ke jaane ke baad se unaka aatmavishvaas jaise khatm ho gaya tha. ab ve pahale kee tarah chahakatee ya ghar mein phurtee se kaam karatee nahin dikhatee theen. ghar ke andar kadam rakhate hee reema ko mahasoos hua ki yah vahee ghar nahin hai, jo kabhee usake lie sabase surakshit aur priy sthaan hua karata tha. bada bhaee aupachaarikata se haalachaal poochhakar chala gaya, aur manjhale bhaee kee baatacheet mein bhee pahale jaisa apanaapan nahin tha. har kisee ke vyavahaar mein ek ajeeb-see dooree aur aupachaarikata thee. reema ke dil mein pitaajee kee yaaden umadane lageen. unake rahate ghar mein har baat mein apanaapan aur khushee ka ehasaas hota tha. jab bhee vah maayake aatee, pitaajee usake lie vishesh intajaam karate. use hamesha lagata tha ki maayake mein vah kisee raajakumaaree kee tarah hai. lekin ab vah apanaapan aur garmajoshee kaheen gaayab ho chukee thee. pitaajee hamesha usakee jarooraton ka khyaal rakhate the. jab vah sasuraal se maayake aatee thee, pitaajee usake lie gaadee bhej dete the, taaki use koee asuvidha na ho. lekin is baar bade bhaee ne use khud taiksee se aane ko kah diya. is chhote se badalaav ne reema ko bheetar tak hila diya. vah samajh chukee thee ki pitaajee ke bina yah maayaka vahee nahin raha, jo kabhee hua karata tha. poora saptaah reema ne aupachaarikataon aur khaamosh palon ke beech bitaaya. ghar ke har kone mein use apanee bachapan kee hansee aur pitaajee kee yaaden dikhaee deteen. lekin ab vah sab sirph smrtiyon mein rah gaya tha. pitaajee ke jaane ke baad, maan aur bhaee-bhaabhiyon ke beech bhee vah apanaapan aur garmajoshee khatm ho gaee thee. ghar ek sangrahaalay-sa ban gaya tha, jahaan keval yaaden basatee theen. jab vaapas lautane ka samay aaya, to bade bhaee ne use steshan tak chhoda aur aupachaarik vida lee. reema ne tren kee khidakee se baahar jhaanka, to usakee aankhon mein pitaajee kee vah chhavi ubhar aaee, jab ve tren ke jaane tak pletaphorm par khade rahate the, haath hilaate the, aur usakee suraksha ka aasheervaad dete the. is baar unakee anupasthiti ne reema ke dil mein ek gaharee tees bhar dee. reema kee aankhon se aansoo bah nikale. usane samajh liya ki maan-baap hee maayake kee aatma hote hain. unake bina maayaka sirph ek sthaan banakar rah jaata hai, jahaan yaaden to rahatee hain, lekin vah apanaapan aur suraksha ka ehasaas nahin rahata. tren ke saphar ke dauraan, reema ne khud se vaada kiya ki vah ab har pal ko sanjokar jiegee aur maan ke saath samay bitaane kee koshish karegee. is baar vah maayake se lautee to zaroor, lekin apane saath ek gaharee samajh aur vaastavikata ka ehasaas lekar. usane jaana ki parivaar ke saath bitaaya har pal anamol hota hai aur use dil se jeena chaahie.
